Morioka cold noodles are said to have been created by Morioka noodle artisans by fusing Hamhung cold noodles and Pyongyang cold noodles from the Korean Peninsula.
Later, the cold noodles that our predecessor "Pyonpyontei" exhibited at the "Nippon Noodle Summit" were highly evaluated and named Morioka Cold Noodles.
Cold noodles can be enjoyed all year round, but warm, gentle-tasting hot noodles are also recommended during this cold season.
